How's after-VT life?

I've been busy doing write-ups and filling in questionaires following the HSBC YEA 2007 win.
Did a photo shoot yesterday for 'Campus News', le official newsletter of my uni. I'm impressed by how they super impost the lush greenery amidst a blank white wall. So, rain or shine, the shoot must go on!lol.

hmm..owh, and RTM(our official tv network) will be interviewing moi tomorrow.
The best part is, I just found out that the host is Lina Teoh(ex Miss Malaysia and cast of Kopitiam)!! Weehoo!

Other than that, the 10k business fund is still sitting in the bank. Well, that's coz HSBC hasn't given it to us yet.lol.

Been getting free lucnhies. All I have to do is bring my mock check everywhere I go.=)

The evening news...

Howdy doo fellas!

hmm..have you ever wondered how small things can make a huge difference...be it to our daily lives or even to the world at large? What if I told you, that we are going to start a business ustilising the little, insignificant things such as byproducts and convert it into a million dollar business?

That seems to be stuck at the back of my skull. lol. That didn't get me into the world news but it got me to page 20 of The Star. =) What the heck am I ranting about?

Some of you may have remembered that I participated in the HSBC Young Entrepreneur Awards. Well, I made it to round 2(down to 11 teams) then,

and eventually, made it to the finals...

It was down to 5 teams, and guess what???
My team bagged the Gold Award! Seems surreal and it still hasn't really sunk in yet. Lady luck must really be on my side!

Wicked shots

Heleeeeew folks!

It's been a while since I yanked in a post. How have you peeps been? Fit and able I bet. =)

Am currently on me easter break. It's just formality to call it a break , really. I've got a truckload of assignments lined up.*sighs*
Nevertheless, it ain't THAT bad i reckon. 2 months being an intern did me good. I've totally looked at assignments, tests, quizzes from a whole new level. Heck, I guess it's wayy better than an 8-5(officially) job!lol.

Anyways, equipped with my recently purchased SLR, I hit the streets and became le unofficiale paparazzo(except that it's an N73 with a 3.2 megapixles carl zeiss lens).
Not as bulky as an SLR, plus much more feminine.>.<
These lil yellow fellas have taken the country by storm. Gung-ho marketing strategy.Think it's pulling off though. Love 'em or hate 'em!


By far, the looooooongest foosball table I've seen. It was on display in conjuction with the UEFA Chapions League trophy tour. Joey G and Jojo Struys hosted the event.


Word up, ladies! MNG 1 Utama has closed down. Yup, you got that right. They've relocated to Le Curve, truly a mall with a breath of fresh air.


FCUK models doing their thang on the catwalk. Most of the malls are jumping into the bandwagon since it's VMY 2007.


Went on the EYE of Malaysia. It looks a lottt better when you're off the ferris wheel, coz you can't see shiiite when you're on it. The fireworks were barely 5 minutes and they had this INTERNATIONAL watersports show.Hmm...not very MALAYSIAN ain't it? They should have Azhar Mansor on his yacht flying the Malaysian flag instead.


It actually looks pretty good when it's lit up.Hmm...maybe it changes colour every 5 minutes ala le eiffel.


Crime scene! Nyahaha! I was the culprit and am proud of it.=)
Was in Dakar rally mode. Lesson learnt, never multi-task in the car.

procrastination

i've been wanting to post something here for quite a while, but i've never gotten around to write smtg...

well, basically because i couldn't think of anything clever or interesting to write abt.

but i still don't have anything to write abt now...the only thing different abt now is that i have a super long essay to write, tons to readings to do, not to mention the assignment coming up.

how i wish sometimes that exams/assignments don't exist. they will make uni-life so much better. i guess that is what we all have to go thru....and for most of us, "one more year......"

so just hang in there..

oh..and if anyone has a cure for procrastination please let me know :P

im just wishing now that i could be chilling with some good company with some good food..

I just realized that I've never posted anything here. Shame on me! Heeeh. Things have been hectic here down under. Boo to second year! Eurgh. Its already Week 6 and the pace is going much faster that I thought it would. Anyhoo, hope my pretty people are doing great wherever you guys are. Am missing home and work (I'm so kidding okay ;P) terribly. Hope I'll get to go back in June and maybe we'll have another round of Chilis yeah? We live to eat yeayyy! :D

Rendezvous @ Chilis

Chilis 1U- 15.02.07

A good 18 of us VTs made it to Chilis. Well, actually 9 VTs all in, but each brought along an invisble friend.Bottomless drinks kept us yacking all night long. We drank, we didn't booze. So the only high we prolly got was from the sugar content.Oh, and for Aira's case, the onions!lol.

T'was great! Had some real bonding session going on. Great company, good food, lots to yack about. What more could you ask for eh? hmm...prolly more time!!

Still remember your 1st day at PwC? haha..i fondly remember mine.
The induction and 2 days of GO Audit Fundamentals, pretty much felt like home.
How time flies eh? Almost 2 months down the line..
Like what I said, the best part of it has got to be the wonderful people I've met.
I guess that comes naturally at a place where it is extremely people-oriented. ;)
hmm...didn't get the chance to personally get to know everyone. So, lets continue where we left off?=p
